Old Hickory Furniture has not only been used in the film industry, but has also been exceedingly popular with many of our nation's presidents. There is photography dating back as early as the 1900's showing William Taft sitting in an Old Hickory settee and in more recent years our furniture has been used to furnish Camp David. Prior to the creation of Camp David, Calvin Coolidge and Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) also used Old Hickory to furnish their own homes. FDR's Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia was his vacation home while he was the governor of New York and it served as a personal retreat during his presidency. This now stands as a National Landmark, but in the early 1930's, it was furnished head to toe in Old Hickory furniture. When Camp David was furnished by President Eisenhower in 1953, Old Hickory was an easy choice because of its timeless look and high quality. Even the presidents knew you could not go wrong with our classic hickory furniture.
